AP ME1654P Full Flow Soft Nose POL Adapter with Plastic Handwheel

The AP ME1654P is a full flow soft nose POL adapter designed for connecting LP gas cylinders to standard low-pressure regulators in RV, marine, and recreational applications. This adapter features a convenient plastic handwheel for tool-free installation and removal.

Key Features:

• Solid brass construction for durability and corrosion resistance (excluding plastic handwheel)
• 1/4 inch MNPT (Male National Pipe Thread) outlet fits all standard low-pressure regulator inlets
• Left-hand thread POL fitting connects to standard LP gas cylinder valves
• User-friendly plastic handwheel eliminates the need for wrenches during installation
• Soft nose design with O-ring seal for leak-free connections
• Full flow configuration ensures maximum propane transfer

Installation Notes:

• Teflon tape recommended for regulator inlet connection instead of thread sealant
• If using thread sealant, ensure none enters the regulator inlet
• Verify handwheel is tight in cylinder valve before lighting appliances
• Not recommended for installations with extreme vibration
• Replace O-ring at first sign of wear
• Turn valve off when not in use

This adapter is ideal for adapting refillable propane tanks (20-30 lbs) for use with RV and recreational vehicle LP gas systems. Manufactured by Marshall Excelsior Company and marketed under the AP Products brand.
