Engineered Marine Products 300-03587 Marine Regulator Rectifier for Johnson Evinrude Outboards

The Engineered Marine Products 300-03587 is a replacement regulator/rectifier designed for Johnson and Evinrude outboard engines. This combined unit performs two essential electrical functions: the rectifier converts AC output from the stator into usable DC voltage, while the regulator maintains that voltage within safe operating limits to protect the battery and onboard electronics.

A failing regulator/rectifier can cause a wide range of electrical issues including hard starting, batteries that won't hold a charge, and erratic or dimming electrical output. Replacing a worn unit with a quality aftermarket part restores proper charging system function and helps prevent downstream damage to connected components.

Key Features:

• Dual-function design combines voltage regulation and AC-to-DC rectification in a single unit
• Maintains stable 12V DC charging output to protect the battery and electrical system
• Direct-fit replacement for original equipment regulator/rectifier
• Cross-references OEM part numbers: 0584476 and 0585001
• Also cross-references Sierra 18-5827 and CDI Electronics 193-4476
• Weighs approximately 0.66 lbs (0.3 kg)

This regulator/rectifier is an essential charging system component for keeping your outboard's electrical system running reliably on the water.
