The Springfield Marine Power-R Taper-Lock Pedestal combines innovative quick-release technology with smooth power-adjustable height control for maximum versatility on the water. Originally designed in 1982, the Taper-Lock system allows the pedestal to be quickly removed from its base while remaining firmly secured during use.

The product came at the very last minute. So we had to do something different plus the &quot;return&quot; directions on the website were not clear, i.e. the return process is not easily executed.
