Sierra 116-368-0143 Shields Series 368 Low Permeation Marine Fuel Hose 1/4" x 10'

The Sierra Shields Series 368 Low Permeation Marine Fuel Hose is a 1/4" I.D. x 10-foot black fuel feed hose engineered to meet the strictest EPA and CARB very low permeation standards for recreational marine use. Built with a plastic barrier veneer and an NBR (nitrile) outer layer tube, this polyester-reinforced hose is purpose-built to minimize fuel vapor emissions while delivering long-lasting, reliable performance aboard outboard, inboard, and inboard/outboard (I/O) vessels.

Key Features:

• Low Permeation Construction: Plastic barrier veneer with NBR outer tube prevents fuel permeation and satisfies EPA and CARB very low permeation requirements
• Polyester Reinforced: Internal polyester braid provides structural integrity and pressure resistance
• Broad Fuel Compatibility: Suitable for gasoline, gasoline/ethanol blends up to E85, diesel, and all bio-diesel blends
• Wide Temperature Range: Rated for use from -20°F to 212°F (-29°C to 100°C)
• Weather & UV Resistant: Outer layer resists degradation from sunlight and harsh marine environments
• 1/4" I.D. x 10 ft: Pre-cut length ideal for fuel feed applications on outboard and inboard/outdrive engines

Certifications & Standards:

• USCG Type A1-15 — meets U.S. Coast Guard requirements for pleasure boats
• SAE J1527 Type A1-15
• ISO 7840 Type A1
• NMMA/CE Type Accepted

The Sierra Shields 368 Series is a trusted choice for marine fuel line replacement or new installations where regulatory compliance and fuel vapor control are essential. The 10-foot pre-cut length provides a convenient solution for most fuel feed routing needs on recreational boats.
