The Cook Manufacturing CMC BA-130 Break Away Mount is designed for duck hunters and fishermen who navigate shallow, stumpy waters, allowing boats and motors to safely slide over submerged logs or debris at low speeds. The unit mounts between the boat transom and the outboard motor, helping minimize damage to the outboard motor and boat transom when obstructions are encountered at speeds under 5 MPH in the forward direction.

Important: Do not encounter obstructions at speeds over 5 MPH and only in the forward direction. The BA-130 is not designed for obstruction encounters while operating in reverse.
