The Quicksilver 8M6007089 MOB+ xFOB is a wireless Man Overboard (MOB) safety device designed to replace the traditional corded engine kill switch. When paired with a compatible MOB+ xHUB boat unit, this compact wearable FOB provides automatic engine shutdown the moment it is submerged in water or moves beyond range — giving every person on board a personal safety guard without restricting their freedom of movement.

This red xFOB is the Americas-market variant and is designed to work seamlessly as part of the MOB+ Wireless Man Overboard System. Simply press the xFOB as you step aboard to connect wirelessly to the xHUB. A green light and audio confirmation signal indicate a successful pairing and the engine is ready to start. If the wearer falls overboard, the engine shuts down automatically within one second of the xFOB being submerged or travelling beyond 50 feet from the xHUB. Six seconds after shutdown, other passengers can restart the engine to assist with recovery.
