The Balmar XT-SF-170-DV-KIT is a complete high-performance alternator charging system designed specifically for marine applications. This comprehensive kit includes the XT-Series 170 amp alternator with dual deep vee pulley, MC-618 Max Charge multi-stage external regulator, alternator and battery temperature sensors, and all necessary mounting hardware.

XT-Series Alternator Features:

• 170 amp output in a compact case design with up to 140 amps available at idle speeds
• 12 volt output with case ground configuration
• State-of-the-art braided wire stator with 96-slot design for superior electromagnetic efficiency
• Patented Smart Ready® internal voltage regulator technology with option for MC-618 external regulation
• Dual fan cooling with high airflow frame for optimal heat dissipation
• Operates 9-18°F cooler than previous AT-Series 165A designs
• Dual 1/2" deep vee belt pulley with 5.2 HP power take-off
