When connected to shore power, the 1500W, 120V electric element heats water efficiently; when the engine is running, the integrated front-mounted aluminum heat exchanger harnesses engine coolant heat to deliver hot water without drawing on electrical power.

Built specifically for the marine environment, the tank and housing are constructed from corrosion-resistant, TIG-welded marine-grade aluminum, minimizing galvanic corrosion risks common in saltwater environments. The unit features ignition-protected controls, making it safe for installation in engine compartments and other areas where fuel vapors may be present. A manual reset and pressure relief valve are included for added safety.
