The Balmar 621-120-J10 is a high-output 12-volt, 120-amp marine alternator from Balmar's trusted 6-Series lineup. Built for recreational marine applications, it features a compact small-case design engineered to replace most OEM alternators on a wide variety of marine gasoline and diesel engines. The single foot spindle mount accepts both 1" Motorola-style and 2" Delco-style mounting configurations, making it compatible with a broad range of popular marine powerplants.

This alternator ships with a J10 AltMount serpentine pulley, designed for use with Balmar's AltMount Pulley Conversion Kit for engines that require a pulley system upgrade to handle higher charging output. The isolated ground design ensures clean electrical performance in the demanding marine environment.

Smart Ready® Technology is a standout feature of the 621 Series. This patented system gives boaters flexibility by enabling the alternator to function either as a stand-alone, internally regulated charging system or paired with an external Balmar multi-stage voltage regulator (such as the ARS-5 or Max Charge) for optimized, smart multi-stage charging.
