Groco ARG-1001-C Bronze Replacement Sea Strainer Cap for ARG-1000 & ARG-1250

The Groco ARG-1001-C is a bronze replacement screw-on cap designed specifically for Groco's ARG series raw water sea strainers. Manufactured from durable marine-grade bronze, this cap is a direct OEM-style replacement for keeping your sea strainer properly sealed and fully functional.

Key Features:

• Material: Marine-grade bronze construction for long-lasting corrosion resistance in saltwater and freshwater environments
• Screw-on design: Easy tool-free removal for routine basket cleaning and maintenance
• Direct replacement: OEM-compatible fit for Groco ARG-1000 and ARG-1250 sea strainers
• No tie-rod design: Compatible with the ARG series strainers identified by their tie-rod-free, screw-on cap configuration

Important Note: O-rings are not included with this cap. Order the appropriate Groco O-ring separately to ensure a watertight seal upon installation.

Over time, strainer caps — whether plastic or bronze — can become brittle, crack, or leak due to corrosion and general wear. Replacing a damaged or aged cap with the ARG-1001-C ensures your raw water system remains sealed and your engine cooling water flow stays uninterrupted. Keeping a spare on board is a smart practice for any vessel relying on an ARG series strainer.
