Product Details

The Ronstan RF1850S is a Grade 316 stainless steel Wide D shackle featuring a 1/8" slotted pin, purpose-built as a conversion accessory for Ronstan's Series 30 Orbit Block lashing system. This shackle allows sailors to quickly convert a Series 30 lashing head Orbit Block into a conventional loop-top block configuration, offering flexible rigging options without requiring a separate block.

Key Features:

  • Grade 316 stainless steel construction for maximum corrosion resistance in saltwater marine environments
  • Wide D (Dee) profile provides a broad, secure bearing surface for block attachment
  • 1/8" slotted pin (3.2mm diameter) for easy installation and removal
  • Dual orientation — fits the Series 30 lashing head block in both 0° and 90° orientations for versatile rigging configurations
  • High strength-to-weight ratio consistent with Ronstan's Orbit Block system design philosophy
  • Compatible with Ronstan Series 30 Orbit Block models RF35101 and RF35101D, and any S30 lashing head Orbit Block

The RF1850S is the ideal shackle upgrade or replacement for sailors looking to expand the functionality of their existing Series 30 Orbit Block lashing setup. Its durable stainless steel construction and lightweight design make it well suited for halyards, sheets, and general running rigging applications.

Tires fit well. Very satisfied Thank you Charlie

Not much to say, the price was good and the speed of delivery was excellent.

The shipping down to Albuquerque New Mexico was way faster then expected. The part fit like a glove and looks even better. The right part, at the right price. I WILL USE THESE GUYS IN THE FUTURE.
