Raritan Engineering RWS5B Raw Water Strainer Replacement Basket

The Raritan Engineering RWS5B is an OEM replacement filter basket designed exclusively for use with the Raritan RWS Raw Water Strainer. Keeping a spare basket on board ensures you can quickly swap and clean the filter without any strainer downtime, protecting your onboard systems that depend on a steady flow of clean intake water.

Constructed from non-metallic mesh nylon, this basket resists corrosion in saltwater and freshwater marine environments. The fine mesh screen captures debris, sediment, and fouling matter before it can reach and damage engine cooling systems, marine heads, air conditioning units, generators, or other water-dependent accessories.

Key Features:

• Material: Mesh nylon (non-metallic) — corrosion-resistant for marine use
• Screen Diameter: 3.88"
• Screen Length: 6.44"
• OEM replacement basket compatible with the Raritan RWS Raw Water Strainer only
• Removable design allows easy cleaning and debris removal
• Non-metallic construction will not corrode or degrade in raw water environments

The RWS5B is a direct factory replacement part, ensuring a proper fit and consistent filtration performance in your Raritan RWS strainer. Stocking a spare basket is recommended as part of routine marine maintenance.
