Faria Instruments 12830 Euro Black 2-Inch Potable Water Tank Level Gauge

The Faria Beede Instruments 12830 is a 2-inch Euro Black series analog potable water tank level gauge designed for demanding marine environments. It monitors the water level in a single potable water tank, displaying a range from Empty to Full with clear quarter-tank markers on a perimeter-lighted black dial with bold white graphics.

This gauge operates on a variable-resistance sending unit principle — a low-amperage current passes through the gauge meter to ground via the sender. As fluid level changes, the sender's resistance varies, altering current flow and deflecting the needle to indicate the current level. The gauge uses American sender resistance.
