The Balmar MC-618HC Max Charge Multi-Stage Voltage Regulator is an advanced 12-volt charging system controller designed for marine applications with P-type externally regulated alternators. This upgraded successor to the MC-614 features Bluetooth connectivity and integrates seamlessly with the SG200 Battery Monitor for remote monitoring and control.

Multi-Stage Charging Process: The MC-618 automatically progresses through seven intelligent charging stages including start delay, soft ramp, bulk charging, calculated bulk, absorption, calculated absorption, and float. This sophisticated charging algorithm ensures faster, more complete charging while preventing overcharging and extending battery life.

The MC-618HC connects to the SmartLink network using an optional SG2-0404 SmartLink Adapter cable (sold separately), enabling integration with SmartShunts for comprehensive battery bank monitoring. Advanced programming functions are accessible through the Bluetooth smartphone app, while basic setup can be completed using the on-regulator controls or SG200 display.
