Engineered Marine Products 8900804 12V 4-Terminal Marine Starter Solenoid Relay

The Engineered Marine Products (EMP) 8900804 is a 12-volt, 4-terminal marine starter solenoid relay engineered for reliable performance in demanding marine environments. Acting as the electromagnetic switch between the ignition system and the starter motor, this solenoid ensures a dependable electrical connection every time the key is turned, then safely disengages once the engine is running.

EMP has been a trusted name in the OEM and marine aftermarket for over 40 years, manufacturing solenoids and electrical components built to withstand the unique challenges of saltwater, humidity, and corrosion exposure common in marine applications.

Key Features:

• 12-Volt operation — compatible with standard 12V marine electrical systems
• 4-terminal design — two large terminals for battery/starter connections, two small terminals for ignition circuit
• Corrosion-resistant construction — built to endure harsh marine conditions including humidity and saltwater exposure
• Direct OEM-style replacement — engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Intermittent duty cycle — designed for starter solenoid applications typical of outboard and inboard marine engines

The EMP 8900804 marine solenoid relay is a dependable replacement for worn or failed solenoids, helping restore proper starting function and reducing the risk of no-start conditions on the water.
