Interlux Schooner Varnish combines the very best of classic varnish craftsmanship with the latest technology to create a high gloss finish with a traditional, warm golden color. This premium quality traditional tung oil varnish features excellent UV protection, making it ideal for marine brightwork applications both above and below deck.

  • Contains UV filters to screen the sun's damaging rays for remarkable durability
  • Superior self-leveling properties for easy application
  • Creates a bright, clear, pristine high gloss finish
  • Excellent water resistance and silky application
  • Formulated with phenolic resin and tung oil
  • 53.4% solids content for superior build and durability

Application Specifications:

  • Coverage: 150 sq.ft per quart by brush, 600 sq.ft per gallon
  • Drying time: 1-3 hours to touch, 8-16 hours to overcoat
  • Recommended coats: 3 coats over previously varnished surfaces, 5-6 coats on bare wood
  • Thinner: Interlux Y333 for brushing, Y216 for spraying
