Product Details

Interlux Micron CSC is a premium ablative antifouling bottom paint designed to provide long-lasting, multi-season protection against marine growth on boat hulls. This advanced formula uses sophisticated Micron Technology with synthetic resin binders that control the release of biocides throughout the lifetime of the paint, ensuring consistent protection in moderate to heavy fouling areas.

Key Features:

  • Ablative formula self-polishes at a controlled rate, reducing paint build-up and minimizing sanding at reapplication
  • Can be hauled and relaunched without recoating, ideal for seasonal storage and trailered boats
  • Contains 37% cuprous oxide biocide content for effective fouling protection
  • Uses copper more efficiently than traditional high-copper bottom paints
  • Suitable for both powerboats and sailboats, including high-speed applications
  • Compatible with wood, fiberglass, and properly primed steel or lead (do not apply on aluminum)
  • Coverage: 396 sq ft per gallon when brushed or rolled, 264 sq ft when sprayed
  • 55% solids by volume for excellent film build and durability

Application: Apply using brush, 3/8" nap solvent-resistant roller, or spray. Two to three coats recommended (three on bare wood). Can be thinned with Interlux Special Thinner 216 or Brush-Ease 433. Ready to recoat or launch in 16 hours at temperatures between 50°F and 90°F.
