Interlux ACT is a high-performance ablative antifouling bottom paint designed to provide single-season protection against moderate to heavy fouling in all water types. Using Ablative Copolymer Technology, ACT erodes away with use and eliminates the build-up of old spent coatings and the heavy sanding needed to remove them.

Key Features:

  • Single-season protection against moderate to heavy fouling in salt, fresh, and brackish water
  • Very effective at controlling shell fouling such as barnacles and zebra mussels
  • Contains Slime Fighter to control weed, slime and algae growth
  • For wood, steel and fiberglass hulls - not for use on aluminum
  • Can be applied by brush, roller and spray
  • Coverage: 430 sq. ft. per gallon
  • Matte finish with 56% volume solids

Application: Apply a minimum of 2 coats (3 on bare wood). Thin only if necessary with Special Thinner 216 or Brush-Ease 433, no more than 10%. Application temperature range: 50°F minimum to 85°F maximum. Compatible with most existing antifouling paints, providing flexible paint-in-fall, launch-in-spring scheduling.
