Interlux ACT uses Ablative Technology to provide excellent season-to-season antifouling protection for power and sail boats in salt, brackish, and fresh water. This innovative ablative technology enables the paint to erode away with use, keeping fresh biocide exposed and eliminating year-over-year paint build-up and the heavy sanding necessary to remove it.

Key Features:

  • Contains 42% copper content for highly effective control of shell fouling including barnacles and zebra mussels
  • Provides excellent protection against all forms of marine fouling in waters with moderate to heavy fouling conditions
  • Includes Slime Fighter additive to control weed, slime, and algae growth
  • Flexible application schedule - paint in the fall and launch in the spring
  • Overcoats existing antifouling paint when properly prepared
  • Suitable for use on fiberglass, wood, and painted surfaces

Application Details:

  • Application by brush, 3/8" nap solvent resistant roller, or spray
  • Matte finish with minimum 2 coats recommended (3 on bare wood)
  • Theoretical coverage: 490 square feet per gallon at 61% solids by volume
  • Thinner: Special Thinner 216 or Brush-Ease 433
  • VOC: 370 g/L

  • Contains 42% copper - do not use on aluminum hulls or outdrives
  • Not suitable for high-speed boats
