The Vetus NLP50 is a marine exhaust waterlock and muffler designed for 50mm (2-inch) exhaust systems. This dual-stage unit provides superior exhaust noise reduction while maintaining minimal back pressure, making it ideal for marine diesel and gasoline engines.

Dual-Stage Construction:

The NLP50 features separate upper and lower chambers with a horizontal partition plate and center riser tube. Exhaust gas and cooling water enter through the inlet in the bottom chamber, travel up through the riser tube, and exit through the outlet in the top chamber. This design effectively prevents cooling water from draining back into the engine when stopped.
