Advanced Planetary Gear Design:

At the heart of this system is the T91FC helm featuring an innovative planetary gear design with three satellite gears that distribute steering feedback evenly across six contact points. This configuration significantly reduces lost motion and steering effort compared to conventional single-pinion gear designs, while increasing system longevity and efficiency. The compact helm is centered on the main drive shaft, requiring less space behind the dash for easier installation in tight console spaces.

High-Performance M90 Mach Cable:

The included 10-foot black M90 Mach steering cable features patented fast-connect end fittings and stainless steel cable construction for superior corrosion resistance. This highly flexible cable excels in applications requiring tight bends and complex routing configurations, with a minimum bend radius of just 3.94 inches. The cable's advanced design delivers exceptional performance while maintaining smooth, responsive steering feel.

Drop-In Installation:

The Fourtech system is designed as a direct replacement for competing steering systems, requiring no new mounting holes for installation. The helm supports steering wheels up to 16 inches in diameter and exceeds both EN 28848 and ABYC P17 marine safety standards. Recommended for boats up to 30 feet in length with engines up to 150 HP. For vessels exceeding 50 mph, hydraulic steering is recommended.
