The Balmar 48AM39 is a ten-groove (J10) serpentine pulley specifically designed for use with Balmar 95-Series high-output marine alternators. This AltMount serpentine alternator pulley provides enhanced power transfer and reliability for marine charging systems.

Key Specifications:

  • 2.7-inch outside diameter
  • 0.875-inch (7/8-inch) bore
  • Ten-groove (J10) serpentine belt configuration
  • Anodized steel construction for durability

Serpentine pulleys provide greater surface contact between the belt and pulley compared to single vee pulleys, allowing them to accommodate much higher power take-off (PTO) requirements beyond the 100A limitation of traditional single vee configurations. This pulley is specifically engineered for Balmar 95-Series alternators and is the recommended component for AltMount pulley conversion systems.
