Product Details

The Marinco 720-MDO is a remote operated battery switch with optical sensor designed for marine applications requiring high current capacity and flexible voltage control. Rated for 500A continuous, 700A intermittent, and 2500A cranking capacity, this heavy-duty switch is ideal for managing the increased electrical loads found on modern boats.

Key Features:

  • Remote operation allows battery switch installation close to batteries, reducing cable lengths and copper weight
  • Optical sensor enables control of different voltage circuits (36V or 48V) from main supply
  • Can switch positive or negative lines with isolated main contacts for operation via separate battery source
  • Ideal for remote isolation of bow and stern thrusters
  • Manual override option meets CE/ABYC safety requirements
  • LED status identification for remote control switch
  • Constructed with tinned copper conductors, stainless steel nuts, and high-temperature fiber-reinforced plastics
  • Compatible with 12V and 24V systems up to 32V DC for motor/PCB supply
  • Can be surface mounted or recessed for flexible installation

The MD range of battery switches provides significant cost savings through reduced cable runs while offering the reliability needed for demanding marine electrical systems. Compatible with interchangeable labeling systems and remote key switch accessories for complete system integration.

Very satisfied

very quick part found

I do not order from new websites very often, due to many scam websites. However Boatplicity was accurate on information, and great customer service on the phone. Confirmed they deliver to our location, and received package on the date that was told to me. I will recommend this website to others.
