Product Details

The B&G WS310 is a professional-grade wired wind sensor designed for marine navigation and sailing applications. This precision instrument provides accurate real-time measurements of both apparent and true wind speed and direction, essential data for optimal sailing performance and navigation planning.

Key Features:

  • Wired connection ensures reliable data transmission without interference
  • Includes 35-meter (115-foot) cable for flexible masthead mounting
  • Durable construction built to withstand harsh marine environments
  • Compatible with B&G multifunction displays and instrument systems
  • Provides continuous wind speed and direction monitoring
  • Low-friction bearings for accurate light-wind performance

The WS310 mounts at the masthead to capture clean, undisturbed wind data above deck obstructions. The extended cable length accommodates most sailboat mast heights and allows for proper routing through the mast to below-deck electronics. This sensor integrates seamlessly with B&G chart plotters and sailing instruments to deliver critical wind information for racing and cruising sailors.

First order experience was great. Received the day after I ordered. I ordered the very same item on Jul 21st, got a shipping notification and tracking number but the item appears to be stalled somewhere. I need it sooner rather than later. I have spoken with customer service via telephone call and online chat, but not getting much of a response from either. Appreciate someone looking into it as I need this item quickly. Thanks, Tim.
