The B.O.S. actively shuttles energy between batteries wired in series to maintain equal voltage levels before, during, and after charging. Batteries in a pack naturally become unbalanced over time, and the pack's performance is limited by its weakest battery. This is especially problematic in marine applications where trolling motor batteries power peripherals or assist cranking batteries. The B.O.S. uses a Battery Selection and Prediction (BSAP-24) algorithm to identify which battery needs additional energy and automatically balances the pack, extending battery life and increasing runtime up to four times.
