Built-In TruEcho CHIRP Fishfinder

The TZT16X incorporates a powerful internal 1kW dual-channel TruEcho CHIRP fishfinder operating across a wide frequency range from 40 kHz to 240 kHz. The system includes built-in CHIRP Side-Scan capability at 235 kHz or 455 kHz, scanning up to 750 feet on each side to reveal bottom structure and fish-holding cover in high definition. For deeper applications, the display is compatible with the optional DFF3-UHD 2kW/3kW network sonar or BT-5 Booster Box for up to 10 kW output power.

TZ MAPS Advanced Chartography

The TZT16X features TZ MAPS, offering highly detailed navigation and fishing charts with customizable content including raster charts, vector charts, satellite imagery, and bathymetric data. Charts can be purchased and updated directly from the MFD with an internet connection. BathyVision provides exceptional bathymetric detail with depth contours configurable down to 3-inch resolution, far exceeding standard chart detail. Custom user objects can be shared with other TZ MAPS users through TimeZero's online service.

AI Routing and Safety Features

Advanced AI Routing intelligently plans routes considering vessel draft and navigational obstacles, automatically generating optimal paths based on real-time conditions. When paired with Furuno NXT radar, the Risk Visualizer provides 360-degree collision risk assessment with dynamic target tracking, while the AI Avoidance Route function calculates safe routing around hazards and interfaces directly with Furuno NavPilot autopilots.
