Product Details

The Sierra 118-3098 is a premium neoprene water pump impeller designed specifically for Mercury and Mariner small outboard motors. As the heart of your engine's cooling system, this impeller protects against overheating caused by silty water or pump dry-running conditions.

Key Specifications:

  • 1-1/4 inch diameter x 1/2 inch depth
  • 6-blade neoprene construction
  • Engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications
  • Suitable for both freshwater and saltwater applications

OEM Cross-References:

  • Mercury Marine: 47-161543, 47-16154
  • Mallory: 9-45302, 9-45302-10
  • Mercury: 47-8M0204676

Regular inspection and replacement of this impeller will keep your Mercury outboard's cooling system running in top form, with engineering that ensures proper fit and function. This is an essential replacement part for routine maintenance or emergency repairs on the water.
