The Sierra 18-7283 is a mechanical fuel pump designed for MerCruiser stern drive applications with GM small block V8 engines. This Carter-style replacement fuel pump is engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications and is built to withstand harsh marine environments.

Key Features:

  • Fits GM 305 and 350 cubic inch (5.0L and 5.7L) V8 marine engines from 1983-1995
  • Delivers 5-8 psi fuel pressure at 80 gallons per hour flow rate
  • Includes mounting gasket for straightforward installation
  • Features provision for vent tube to carburetor
  • Fuel outlet positioned at 9 o'clock orientation
  • Flange ID M60600 for proper fitment identification

This fuel pump replaces MerCruiser part numbers 8M0058164, 97401A2, 97401A8, and 861678A1, as well as OMC part number 509404. Uses Sierra gasket 18-0889 for installation. Engineered to provide reliable fuel delivery for your marine engine with stock fuel pressure and flow characteristics.
