Product Details

The Sierra 18-7282 is a Carter-style mechanical fuel pump designed for marine 4-cylinder gasoline engines, including GM 2.5L and 3.0L engines as well as Mercury/Mercruiser 3.7L aluminum block engines. This high-quality replacement pump is engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications and delivers reliable performance in harsh marine environments.

Key Features:

  • Produces 6-8 PSI fuel pressure for proper engine operation
  • Fuel inlet at 8 o'clock position, outlet at 3 o'clock position (when viewed from bottom with rocker arm at 12 o'clock)
  • Includes mounting gasket for straightforward installation
  • Integral fuel filter located on bottom of pump when installed
  • Fits engines with flange ID 60337 and M60337

Replaces OEM Part Numbers: Mercruiser 42725A3, 861676A1, 861676T09, 8M0073435; OMC 509407; Mallory 9-35422; Volvo Penta 3854828

Applications: Compatible with 1983-1998 Mercruiser and OMC 3.0L and 3.7L inline 4-cylinder engines (115-190 HP). Note that fittings are not included with this pump (see Sierra part number 18-35437 separately).
