How It Works:
The Core wirelessly tracks OLAS transmitters worn by crew members around the vessel. When someone falls overboard, the system triggers an 85-decibel audible alarm and activates a high-power red LED emergency light (55 lumens) within 4 seconds, providing both audio and visual alerts while illuminating the surrounding area for nighttime recovery operations.
Mobile App Integration:
The Core connects with the free OLAS mobile app (iOS 11+ and Android 5.1+) to provide critical MOB assistance including GPS location recording at the alert position, directional navigation back to the MOB location, battery monitoring for all connected transmitters, and auto-populated VHF emergency call prompts to guide the crew during recovery operations.
