The ARCO Zeus 24V 4kW Low Turn On (LTO) alternator represents the newest generation of high-performance marine electrical systems. This advanced alternator activates at lower engine speeds, operates cooler, and delivers significantly more power than older, larger, and heavier designs. Unlike competitor 24V alternators that use less efficient 12V rotors, the ARCO Zeus utilizes a native 24V rotor and field current for superior efficiency and cooler operation throughout its lifespan.

Outstanding Low-Speed Performance:

The Zeus alternator continuously generates over 1.4kW (51 Amps) at just under 1,500 RPM and nearly 2.4kW (87 Amps) at 2,000 alternator RPM. In practical terms, a marine diesel engine idling at 750 RPM with a 2:1 pulley ratio produces over 1.5kW (55 Amps), while a Mercedes Sprinter at 750 RPM with a 3.21:1 ratio generates over 2.5kW (91 Amps).
