In practical terms, a marine diesel engine at 1,500 RPM with a 2:1 pulley ratio generates over 3kW, while a Mercedes Sprinter at 1,800 RPM with a 3.21:1 ratio produces over 6kW.
Unlike competitor 24V alternators that utilize less efficient 12V rotors and field current, the ARCO Zeus features a native 24V rotor and field current. This design allows the alternator to run significantly cooler, directly extending its operational lifespan while providing superior output across all RPM ranges. The unit features a J180 4-inch saddle-style mount with isolated ground configuration.
