Dexter Marine Products K71-2R-12-SSS Kodiak 12" Stainless Steel Disc Brake Kit

The Kodiak by Dexter K71-2R-12-SSS is a complete 12-inch disc brake kit designed for trailer axles with a 6,000 pound capacity, featuring a 6 on 5.50-inch bolt pattern with 1/2-inch studs. This all-stainless steel construction offers the ultimate corrosion protection in salt water marine applications.

Complete Kit Includes:

• Two 12-inch stainless steel vented rotors
• Two stainless steel calipers with ceramic brake pads
• Two stainless steel mounting brackets
• Four caliper pins

The hat-style stainless steel rotor fits over standard wheel hubs and is frequently wheel bolt piloted as a loose fit, held in place by the wheel and wheel nuts. The caliper mounts to a 5-bolt brake flange and fits inside 15-inch and larger wheels. Calipers come loaded with stainless steel-backed non-asbestos ceramic friction pads.
