The Dexter K23-450-00 is a complete 12-1/4" x 3-3/8" left-hand electric brake assembly designed for general duty trailer applications with forward self-adjusting technology. This brake is rated to a maximum capacity of 10,000 lbs per pair, making it ideal for heavy-duty trailers including utility trailers, livestock trailers, and dump trailers.

Brake adjustment occurs when lining wear results in enough gap between the shoes and the brake drum surface, ensuring optimal performance throughout the life of the brake. The electric brake system provides superior user control compared to hydraulic systems and requires no brake lines or hydraulic actuator. A brake controller is required for operation. Pair with K23-451-00 for the right-hand side brake assembly.

Saia is a horrible freight company. I used to deal with them at my previous job as a shipper. Box had a little damage, paint is rubbed off in a couple areas and swivel wheel assembly was bent. I was able to get it straight. Hopefully it will roll ok once it has weight on it. Not something I would expect for a $1500 item. I had to call Saia several times because I was getting a runaround on the delivery, they kept telling me they would schedule a delivery time. Never did, it showed up at my house unexpected, luckily my wife was still home. Seems like a good product though
