Product Details

The Sierra 18-3066 is a premium neoprene water pump impeller designed as a direct replacement for Mercury, Mariner, and Yamaha outboard engines. Impellers are the heart of an engine's cooling system and require regular inspection and replacement under normal operating conditions, as running through silty or sandy water or running a pump dry can ruin an impeller quickly and cause the engine to overheat.

Key Specifications:

  • 6-blade neoprene construction
  • Diameter: 1-9/16 inches
  • Depth: 3/4 inch
  • Key drive design
  • Compatible with 6HP and 8HP Mercury and Yamaha outboards

OEM Cross References:

  • Mercury Marine: 47-11590M
  • Yamaha: 6G1-44352-00-00
  • Mallory: 9-45610

Sierra replacement impellers are engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications, providing reliable performance in harsh marine environments. Regular impeller replacement is essential preventive maintenance to ensure proper engine cooling and avoid costly overheating damage.
