Suburban Mfg 233253 ECO Limit Switch with Reset for IW60 Water Heater

The Suburban Mfg 233253 is an ECO (Emergency Cut-Off) limit switch with manual reset designed for Suburban Nautilus IW60 water heater models. This critical safety component monitors water temperature and automatically interrupts power to prevent dangerous overheating conditions.

Key Features:

• Manual reset button allows easy system restoration after safety shutdown
• ECO limit switch protects against thermostat failure
• Designed specifically for Suburban Nautilus IW60 water heaters
• Trips when water temperature exceeds safe operating limits (typically around 180°F)
• Must be manually reset to restore water heater operation
• Lightweight design at 0.05 lbs for easy installation

This switch serves as an important failsafe mechanism in your RV water heating system. When the primary thermostat fails to open the circuit and water continues heating beyond safe limits, the ECO switch automatically opens the circuit to prevent potential damage or safety hazards. The manual reset button must be pressed to restore operation, alerting you to a potential thermostat malfunction that requires attention.

Installation Note: This component is typically accessed through the exterior water heater service panel. Ensure the water heater is powered off and cooled before installation or servicing.
