The Johnson Cutless CALL Naval Brass Sleeve Bearing by Duramax Marine is a premium water-lubricated propeller shaft bearing designed for marine propulsion systems. This brass shell bearing fits 2" shaft diameter with an outside diameter of 2-5/8" and a length of 8", making it ideal for medium-sized inboard powerboats and sailboats.

Applications:

Johnson Cutless Bearings adapt perfectly to both strut and stern tube mounts, and are often used as rudder-stock and pintle bushings. The water-lubricated design eliminates the need for grease, making it environmentally friendly while providing reliable, low-friction operation. These bearings are essential for supporting the propeller shaft while allowing smooth rotation to transmit power from the engine to the propeller.

The inside diameter is bored to the correct dimension first, then the outside diameter is machined to specifications, resulting in superior bearing concentricity that reduces vibration and extends bearing life. Every bearing is tested using plug gages, then visually inspected and approved before shipping.
