Engineered Marine Products 1300-13604 Air Charge Temperature Sensor Gauges

The Engineered Marine Products (EMP) 1300-13604 Air Charge Temperature Sensor (ACTS) is a precision replacement sensor engineered for marine engine fuel management systems. Engineered Marine Products (EMP) is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket marine engine components, producing quality replacements that meet or exceed OEM performance standards.

The Air Charge Temperature Sensor is a thermistor-type sensor that measures the temperature of the incoming air stream in the intake manifold or air filter housing. This data is transmitted to the engine control module (ECM), which uses it to calculate the optimal fuel-to-air mixture and adjust ignition timing for efficient combustion across varying operating conditions.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit OEM-style replacement for marine engine applications
• Thermistor-based design provides accurate, real-time intake air temperature readings
• Signals the engine control module (ECM) to optimize fuel delivery and ignition timing
• Engineered to withstand the harsh marine environment including heat, vibration, and moisture
• Manufactured by Engineered Marine Products (EMP) to meet or exceed original equipment specifications

Replacing a faulty Air Charge Temperature Sensor restores proper ECM function and helps prevent rough idle, poor fuel economy, hard starting, and engine hesitation commonly caused by incorrect air temperature input signals.
