Sierra 118-99436 Regulator/Rectifier 20-Amp for Johnson Evinrude Outboards

The Sierra 118-99436 is a 20-amp combined regulator/rectifier designed as a direct replacement for Johnson and Evinrude outboard motors. This charging system component performs two critical functions: it rectifies AC current produced by the stator into usable DC current, and regulates output voltage to protect the battery and onboard electronics from overcharge.

Sierra International engineers this unit to meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications, ensuring a reliable drop-in fit without modification. The solid-state design provides consistent performance and long service life in the demanding marine environment.

Key Features:

• 20-Amp output rating for reliable battery charging on equipped Johnson and Evinrude outboards
• Combined regulator and rectifier in a single unit — converts AC stator output to regulated DC
• Built to meet or exceed OEM specifications for Johnson/Evinrude applications
• Solid-state construction for durability and resistance to vibration and moisture
• Direct plug-in replacement — no wiring modification required
• Manufactured by Sierra International, a trusted name in marine aftermarket electrical components

The Sierra 118-99436 regulator/rectifier is the correct choice when replacing a failed or degraded charging system unit on compatible Johnson and Evinrude outboard motors. Always verify fitment using the engine's model and serial number before installation.
