Solas 9574-160-20 Rubex L4 Stainless Steel 4-Blade Propeller 16 x 20

The Solas Rubex L4 Series (9574-160-20) is a high-performance stainless steel 4-blade marine propeller engineered for select large outboard and sterndrive applications. Built under Solas's premium Rubex line, the L4 designation indicates a large-hub, four-blade design optimized for improved thrust, reduced ventilation, and smoother planing performance compared to standard 3-blade props.

Key Features:

• Part Number: 9574-160-20
• Series: Rubex L4 — large-hub, 4-blade stainless steel propeller
• Material: Premium 316 stainless steel construction for maximum durability and corrosion resistance
• Diameter: 16 inches
• Pitch: 20 inches
• Blades: 4-blade design for enhanced bow lift, improved hole shot, and reduced RPM fluctuation at cruising speeds
• Hub System: Interchangeable Rubex rubber hub system — absorbs shock loads to protect the gearcase
• Rotation: Right-hand (standard)

The Rubex L4's four-blade geometry delivers superior performance in heavy-load applications such as pontoon boats, large multi-engine setups, and workboats where consistent thrust and load-carrying capacity are critical. The interchangeable hub system is a standout feature, allowing the propeller shell to be re-used if the hub is damaged — saving significant cost over full propeller replacement.

Manufactured to precise tolerances, the Solas Rubex L4 9574-160-20 offers a balance of top speed, fuel efficiency, and dependable low-speed handling that serious boaters demand.
