The Weigh Safe SWS8-2.5-PATB-KA is a heavy-duty adjustable drop hitch that features a revolutionary built-in tongue weight scale, allowing you to measure trailer tongue weight simply by hooking up your trailer as you normally would. The weight of your trailer pushes down on the pintle attachment or tow ball, which activates an internal hydraulic piston sitting on a bed of oil that sends the pressure reading to the scale display. This eliminates the need for separate scales or trips to weigh stations, giving you real-time tongue weight readings for safer towing.
