Weigh Safe TTLW6-2 True Tow Lightweight Weight Distribution Hitch Drop Shank - 6 2

The Weigh Safe TTLW6-2 True Tow Lightweight Weight Distribution Hitch is engineered for towers who need reliable, accurate weight distribution without the bulk of a heavy-duty system. Featuring a 6" drop and a 2" shank for standard 2" receivers, this hitch delivers a choice between 6,000 lbs or 10,000 lbs GTW ratings to match your towing setup.

Key Features:

• Built-In Tongue Weight Scale: Patented integrated gauge accurately measures both tongue weight and distributed tongue weight, eliminating guesswork before every trip
• True Tow Technology: Proven weight distribution system that evenly distributes trailer load across your towing setup for improved stability and handling
• Live Adjustment System: Fine-tune your weight distribution setup in real time without disconnecting the trailer, ensuring optimal balance as loads shift
• 4-Point Anti-Sway Technology: Friction areas at the sway bar connection points and trailer bracket connection points actively reduce trailer sway caused by wind or passing vehicles
• True Tow Companion App: Compatible with iOS and Android — simply answer a few questions and the app calculates exactly how to adjust the live adjustment screw for proper weight distribution
• 6" Drop / 2" Shank: Designed for 2" receivers with a 6" drop; Weigh Safe recommends a minimum of 11" of ground clearance
• Multiple GTW Options: Choose between 6,000 lb or 10,000 lb Gross Trailer Weight ratings depending on your towing needs
• Max Trailer Frame Height: Fits trailer frames up to 6" tall; optional 8" accessory bracket available for larger frames

Important Notes: Not compatible with surge brakes. Some sleeve-locking couplers may not be compatible due to spacing between the tow ball and lead screw — consult the Weigh Safe dimension guide before ordering. Some trailers may require chains and breakaway cables to be extended or remounted due to hitch length.

The True Tow Lightweight is an ideal solution for towing small to mid-size trailers — including campers, boats, and utility trailers — where precise weight distribution and built-in tongue weight measurement are essential for safe, confident towing.
