KeelShield KS6LGY-DP 6 ft. Boat Keel Guard Protector - Light Gray

The KeelShield KS6LGY-DP is a 6-foot, light gray keel guard engineered to defend the most vulnerable part of your boat's hull from the punishment of everyday use. The keel runs along the centerline of most boats, protruding downward where it slices into the water first — and contacts concrete ramps, docks, and rocky shores first. This keel protector puts a tough barrier between your hull and those hazards.

Key Features:

• Pure Urethane Polymer Construction: This 5-inch-wide rugged shield delivers strong, durable protection against abrasions, scratches, and scars.
• UV Inhibitors & Grooved Design: Built with UV inhibitors and a grooved profile that protects the keel while enhancing directional stability and performance.
• Multi-Hazard Protection: Guards against abrasion and damage in shallow water and while beaching against sand, concrete ramps, rocky shores, and other common hazards.
• Exclusive 3M Adhesive System: Designed and made in the USA with durable urethane polymers and 3M adhesives, backed by a lifetime guarantee.
• No Cure Time Required: Features a simple Prep-Peel-Stick installation with 3M adhesive that does not require any cure time.
• Light Gray Color: The neutral light gray finish blends well with a wide range of hull colors and gelcoat finishes.
• 6-Foot Length: Sized to cover the full contact zone on most mid-size boats, including the area most prone to wear and scuffing.

At 5 inches wide and available in multiple sizes, KeelShield fits personal watercraft and boats up to 30 feet in length and won't slow your craft down. For best results, the KeelShield should extend far enough aft to cover any area that contacts the beach, plus one to two extra feet.
