Marine Fasteners RP-1336 Nylon Insert Lock Nut 5/16-18 100-Pack

The Marine Fasteners RP-1336 is a pack of 100 stainless steel nylon insert lock nuts in a 5/16-18 UNC thread size, designed for reliable fastening in marine, boating, and other corrosion-prone environments. Also commonly referred to as nylock nuts or nyloc nuts, these hex-style lock nuts provide a secure, vibration-resistant connection that won't loosen over time.

Key Features:

• Nylon insert locking design: The integrated nylon collar deforms around the bolt threads upon installation, creating strong friction that resists loosening from vibration, shock, and movement
• Stainless steel construction: Offers excellent corrosion resistance suitable for marine, saltwater, and high-humidity applications
• Thread size: 5/16-18 UNC (Unified National Coarse)
• Hex head profile: Compatible with standard wrenches and sockets for easy installation and removal
• Bulk pack of 100: Ideal for boat builders, riggers, marine mechanics, and maintenance professionals
• Reusable: Can be removed and reinstalled, though locking effectiveness diminishes with repeated use

The RP-1336 lock nuts are well-suited for securing hardware, equipment mounts, engine room components, deck hardware, and other marine assemblies where fastener integrity is critical. The 100-piece pack provides an economical supply for production, repair, and maintenance use.
