Marine Fasteners Nylon Insert Lock Nut

Marine Fasteners Nylon Insert Lock Nuts are self-locking hex nuts, also called nyloc nuts, nylon lock nuts or stop nuts. They secure bolts and other threaded components in place and resist loosening from vibration.

Key Features:

• Nylon insert design: A nylon ring built into the nut deforms around the mating threads. This creates friction that holds the nut in place.
• Vibration resistance: The locking action helps keep the fastener connection tight where there is constant movement or vibration.
• Hex drive: The external hex shape gives positive wrench or socket engagement for secure tightening.
• Marine-ready applications: Suited to boat, trailer and other hardware where vibration is a concern.

Choose the thread size that matches your bolt or screw. Pair these nuts with matching bolts and washers to spread the clamping load and keep fastened assemblies secure.
