Wichard 91432W HR Key Pin Shackle with Bar 5mm Pin Diameter

The Wichard 91432W is a high-resistance (HR) key pin D-shackle with bar, precision forged from 17-4 PH stainless steel — one of the most demanding grades available in marine hardware. Designed for sailing rigging, deck hardware, and offshore applications where load reliability is non-negotiable, this shackle delivers exceptional working and breaking loads relative to its compact 5mm pin diameter.

Key Features:

• HR (High Resistance) Grade Stainless Steel — forged from 17-4 PH (precipitation-hardened) stainless steel for superior strength and corrosion resistance
• 5mm Pin Diameter — compact, lightweight profile suitable for running and standing rigging applications
• Key Pin with Retaining Bar — the integrated bar locks the pin securely in place, preventing accidental opening under load or vibration
• Outstanding Working and Breaking Load — HR-grade forging provides significantly higher load ratings than standard 316 stainless shackles of the same size
• Forged D-Shackle Profile — smooth, rounded bow geometry distributes load evenly and reduces wear on attached hardware
• Marine-Grade Corrosion Resistance — suitable for saltwater, offshore, and racing environments
• Manufactured by Wichard, a trusted French marine hardware brand with decades of rigging and sailing hardware expertise

The Wichard HR shackle series is a preferred choice for competitive sailors and marine professionals who require certified, high-load rigging hardware in a lightweight package. The key pin with retaining bar design ensures the shackle remains securely closed during dynamic sailing loads.
