Wichard 11209W HR D Shackle 20mm High-Resistance Stainless Steel Marine Shackle

The Wichard 11209W is a 20mm (25/32") HR D Shackle forged from high-resistance 17-4 PH stainless steel, delivering exceptional strength and corrosion resistance for demanding marine and rigging applications. Wichard's HR (High Resistance) grade stainless steel construction offers up to 60% greater resistance to stress corrosion cracking compared to standard 316L stainless steel shackles, making it an ideal choice for offshore sailing, racing, and critical load-bearing use.

Key Features:

• High-Resistance (HR) Stainless Steel – Forged from 17-4 PH precipitation-hardened stainless steel for superior strength-to-weight ratio
• Up to 60% More Corrosion Resistant – HR grade material resists stress corrosion cracking far better than standard stainless steel
• Outstanding Working and Breaking Load – Engineered to meet the rigorous demands of racing and offshore sailing
• D-Shackle Design – Classic bow shape optimized for in-line loading applications
• 20mm Pin Diameter (25/32") – Robust sizing suitable for heavy-duty rigging connections
• Precision Forged Construction – Ensures consistent material integrity and load performance
• Made in France – Manufactured by Wichard, a trusted leader in marine hardware since 1919

The Wichard HR shackle line is engineered for sailors and riggers who demand the highest performance from their hardware. Whether used on standing rigging, running rigging, or critical deck fittings, the 11209W provides the reliability and strength required in the most challenging conditions at sea.
