Product Details

The Wichard 1247W is a non self-locking bow shackle precision-forged from Grade 316L stainless steel, delivering exceptional corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability in demanding marine and offshore environments. With a 16mm (5/8") pin diameter, this bow shackle is built to handle heavy loads with confidence.

Key Features:

  • Forged Grade 316L Stainless Steel construction for superior strength and corrosion resistance
  • Non self-locking design — pin locks securely into one of the indentations to prevent accidental loosening
  • No risk of loosening under load, vibration, or repeated use
  • 16mm (5/8") diameter bow shackle for high-load applications
  • Smooth bow profile ideal for connecting lines, blocks, and rigging hardware
  • Manufactured by Wichard, a trusted French brand with decades of marine hardware expertise

The Wichard 1247W is an excellent choice for sailors, riggers, and marine professionals who require a reliable, high-strength shackle for standing and running rigging, anchoring, and general marine use.
