Wichard 1306W Self-Locking Allen Head Pin D Shackle 12mm 15/32" 316L Stainless Steel

The Wichard 1306W is a self-locking D shackle featuring an Allen head pin, precision forged from Grade 316L stainless steel for exceptional corrosion resistance in harsh marine and offshore environments. Wichard is a French marine hardware manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for high-performance rigging components trusted by sailors and riggers worldwide.

Key Features:

• Self-locking Allen head pin — the pin automatically locks into one of the body's threaded positions, preventing accidental opening under load or vibration
• 12mm (15/32") pin diameter — providing substantial strength and load capacity for demanding rigging applications
• Forged Grade 316L stainless steel construction — offers superior resistance to saltwater corrosion, pitting, and crevice corrosion compared to standard 316 stainless
• D-shackle (bow shackle) profile — optimized for in-line loading along the axis of the shackle
• Allen key operated pin — allows tool-assisted tightening and removal for a secure, reliable connection
• Meets demanding offshore and racing rigging standards

The Wichard 1306W self-locking D shackle is ideal for standing rigging, running rigging, deck hardware, and safety equipment installations where a secure, vibration-resistant connection is critical. The Allen head pin design allows the shackle to be properly torqued and locked without the use of a traditional mousing wire, saving time while maintaining safety.
