Wichard 1395W Thimble Shackle Allen Head Pin 10mm Diameter 13/32"

The Wichard 1395W Thimble Shackle with Allen Head Pin is a precision-forged marine shackle designed for high-performance sailing and rigging applications. Manufactured from Grade 316L stainless steel, this shackle offers exceptional corrosion resistance in saltwater environments and the structural integrity demanded by demanding offshore conditions.

The integrated thimble design allows a rope to be spliced directly onto the shackle without the need for an additional separate thimble, reducing bulk, minimizing hardware count, and creating a cleaner, stronger connection point. The Allen head pin (also known as a hex socket pin) provides a secure, tool-tightened closure that resists accidental opening under load — a critical safety advantage over traditional bow shackles with screw pins.

Key Features:

• Forged Grade 316L stainless steel construction for maximum strength and corrosion resistance
• Integrated thimble design allows direct rope splicing without a separate thimble
• 10mm pin diameter (13/32") for precise sizing in rigging and block systems
• Allen head (hex socket) pin for secure, tool-tightened closure
• Prevents accidental pin rotation and opening under load
• Smooth internal radius protects rope fibers and reduces wear
• Suitable for use in saltwater and offshore marine environments

The Wichard 1395W is ideal for use on sailboat running rigging, halyards, sheets, and control lines where a low-profile, reliable shackle-to-rope connection is required. Wichard hardware is engineered and manufactured in France to meet rigorous marine industry standards.
